When a priest told Sanjay Dutt he was a king in past life

When a priest told Sanjay Dutt about his shocking past life: A king from the Ashoka dynasty, whose wife had an affair with a minister

Sanjay Dutt is a Bollywood actor like no other. His career, spanning over four decades, has seen him rise from a child actor in ‘Reshma aur Shera’ to one of India’s most iconic stars. Known for his unique style and screen presence, Dutt has faced many ups and downs in both his personal and professional life and continues to carve a special place for himself in the film industry. But beyond his film success, the ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.’ star once revealed a bizarre incident that shed light on his past life, revealed by a pandit.

Pandit claimed Sanjay Dutt was a king

Sanjay Dutt once shared that he was a king in his past life. Speaking about the experience in a 2005 episode, the ‘Khalnayak’ actor mentioned a place called Shivneri, near Chennai. He said a friend from Gangawati, a town in Karnataka, suggested he visit the village. He recalled, “It is a small village and over there you give your thumb impression and they find your leaf. They found my leaf and they said your dad’s name is Balraj Dutt and I said ‘no it is Sunil Dutt’. And then they said your mother’s name has to be Fatima Hussain, and who knows that?” The actor said he initially denied the priest’s claims, but the priest insisted he was telling the truth.

Priest revealed tragic betrayal in Sanjay Dutt’s past life

The priest went on to tell the ‘Saajan’ actor about his past life. According to the priest, Sanjay faced a lot of trouble in this life because of the actions of his previous life. Sanjay further revealed what the priest told him, “I was a king in the Ashoka dynasty. My wife had an affair with my minister and she sent me away to war to get killed. But I killed a lot of people and I came back and I found out and I killed her; I killed him as well. I was a Shiv bhakt so I went into the forest and starved myself to death.”

Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film

While the past is intriguing, Sanjay Dutt continues to focus on the present. He is currently gearing up for ‘Dhurandhar’, directed by Aditya Dhar. In the film, he plays ‘The Jinn’, also known as SP Chaudhary Aslam. The film also stars Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and Sara Arjun. It is all set to hit cinemas on 5 December 2025. Go to Source
