‘Bridesmaids’ reunion a huge success at the Oscars this year

While Covey was home recovering from her surgery, fellow co-stars Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, and Ellie Kemper had the time of their lives at the Oscars, celebrating their much-awaited reunion. The ladies were invited together on stage at the Academy Awards to present the Oscar for Best Original Score. Before announcing the winner of the prestigious award, the cast joked about the reunion. Kristen commented, “We are so happy to all be here together tonight. I cannot believe that it’s been 15 years now. We are not good with numbers, but we figured it out backstage. That means we shot this movie in 1883.”Byrne, who was nominated for her role in ‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You’, also read a hilarious note that was supposedly written by fellow actor Leonardo DiCaprio, and said, “‘Rose, can you please stop looking at me? The eye contact is too much. I’m thinking of leaving. I’m very uncomfortable.’”
