‘Welcome 4’ adds multiple villains, global music twist

Welcome 4' to feature multiple villains and global music stars as 'Welcome to the Jungle' nears release in June

Exciting news for fans of the franchise: Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has revealed that ‘Welcome 4’ is already in the works, even ahead of ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ making its theatrical debut. The anticipated script is almost finalized, promising a spectacular showdown with an expanded roster of villains, a delightful mix of laughs and thrills, and the return of fan-favorite characters.

Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has confirmed that ‘Welcome 4’ is in the works, giving fans of Akshay Kumar and the long-running comedy franchise a big update. The announcement comes even before ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ the third film in the series, reaches theaters. Nadiadwala says the new film is already moving through the writing stage, with the script nearly ready and key story decisions now being finalized. He also teased a larger scale, more villains, and a mix of comedy and action.

‘Welcome 4’ update and Firoz Nadiadwala’s tease

According to Bombay Times, Nadiadwala has already started work on ‘Welcome 4’ while preparing for the release of ‘Welcome to the Jungle.’ Speaking to BT, he said, “We are in the stages of scripting, and we will let you know about it soon.” He did not reveal the full plot, but he made it clear that the next chapter will aim big. He described ‘Welcome 4’ as a film that will feel like an explosion, packed with comedy, action, and striking moments.

‘Welcome’ franchise cast, villains, and release plans

Nadiadwala also hinted that some of the franchise’s most loved characters could return. Uday Bhai, Majnu Bhai, and Dr. Ghungroo are among the names he suggested could be back in the story. He also said the film will feature more than one villain, along with comic clashes and chaotic situations that match the tone fans expect from the series. Music is another area where the team wants to go bigger. Nadiadwala said the soundtrack will stand out, with plans to work with musicians from different countries. That choice, he suggested, will help give the film a distinct sound. He also addressed the talk around ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and its release. Nadiadwala said reports of delay were only rumors. He confirmed that the film is set to release on June 26, 2026. He praised Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, and Suniel Shetty for their work on the film. He also said the production was demanding, with some scenes involving hundreds of horses and army helicopters. One song, he added, was shot in Dubai using expensive cars. With ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ nearing release and ‘Welcome 4’ already in development, the franchise is clearly preparing for a much bigger run ahead.
