Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan recently opened up about his character Kabir in ‘War 2’, calling it one of the most funded roles of his career. Sharing his views on X (Formerly Twitter), Hrithik expressed how love and energy from fans continue to inspire him, making Kabir an unforgettable part of his cinematic journey. For him, Kabir is more than just a character; it is a symbol of flexibility and intensity that develops with every film.A heartfelt note to fansIn his heartfelt post, Hrithik wrote: “In Kabir’s world, battles may be won, but the war goes on. A character that came to life in 2019 has only fueled my fire as an actor and entertainer. Witnessing all your cheers and celebrations in cinema halls only makes Kabir taller and my heart fuller.” The actor further thanked fans for their overwhelming response, saying Kabir would always remain one of his most special roles. With War 2 hitting theatres, Hrithik feels that the audience’s affection has only deepened his connection to the spy-thriller universe.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film brings together a contingent of artists, which features Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, Kiara Advani, Ashutosh Rana, and Anil Kapoor. The story revolves around Kabir Dhaliwal, a former intelligence officer who was made wicked by a miscreant, which poses a serious threat to national security. A special force officer, Vikram Chelapati (starred by Jr. NTR), has been tasked to track him, and the platform for an electrification clash has been established. The high-octane tale, combined with intensive performance and action scenes, has already attracted the attention of the audience across the country.

Box office storm

‘War 2’ has also proven to be a massive box office success in its opening days. In just two days, ‘War 2’ has collected an impressive ₹115 crore nett in India, with its Hindi version contributing ₹75 crore and its Telugu version adding another ₹40 crore as per Sacnilk. Jr. NTR, who plays a key role in the film, also shared his excitement on Instagram with a still from the song Janaab-E-Ali. He thanked fans for their love and support, saying the passion and response from audiences have been overwhelming. With its star power, gripping plot, and record-breaking collections, ‘War 2’ stands as one of the biggest cinematic spectacles of the year.
