Vishal reveals why he postponed marriage with Sai Dhanshika

Vishal reveals why he postponed marriage with Sai Dhanshika, shares wedding plans: 'I set a condition for Dhanshika'

Tamil actor Vishal is all smiles as he begins a new chapter in his personal life. The actor got engaged to actress Sai Dhanshika on his birthday, August 29, in an intimate ceremony in Chennai. The couple, dressed in traditional attire and adorned with garlands, exchanged rings in front of close family and friends. Their pictures, shared by Vishal on X, quickly went viral, with fans showering blessings on the newly engaged pair.

Wedding was first planned for August 29

Interestingly, Vishal and Dhanshika had originally planned to get married on this date itself. The duo had confirmed their wedding news during the audio launch of Yogi Da, Dhanshika’s film, where Vishal was invited as a chief guest. However, the actor later revealed that he chose to put off the wedding for a very personal reason.

Vishal explains the postponement

Speaking to Puthiya Thalaimurai after the ceremony, Vishal explained that the completion of the long-delayed Nadigar Sangam office was his priority. “This is my last birthday as a bachelor. With your blessings, I am officially betrothed to Sai Dhanshika,” he said, calling it his final birthday as a “chronic bachelor.” Pointing towards the construction site, he added, “We initially wanted to marry on my birthday, but I set a condition for Dhanshika to wait until the building is opened and she also agreed. We have waited nine years for this office, now just two more months until it is completed.”

Wedding plans already in motion

The actor also assured that preparations for the big day are underway. “I have already booked an auditorium for our wedding. As soon as the building is inaugurated, we’ll settle on a date,” Vishal revealed. For him, the long-pending building and finding a life partner seem to have come together at the same time. “The building has been long overdue for Nadigar Sangam and at the same time, I have finally found the right partner to spend my life with,” he concluded.
