With the scale and secrecy around the film, even travel visuals of the actors are going viral on social media within minutes.

Mahesh Babu flies to Georgia

As reported by Deccan Chronicle, the Georgia schedule will mainly focus on major action sequences between the hero and the villain. Mahesh Babu was spotted at the airport in the early hours of Tuesday as he left for the international shoot along with his team. The locations were already finalised a few months ago by the director and cinematographer PS Vinod after a detailed recce. The team is expected to shoot in Georgia for around 12 to 14 days, and this long schedule shows how important these scenes are for the film’s story.

Massive face-off between Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj

This schedule is said to include large-scale action scenes and key story moments featuring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Fans are especially excited to see their confrontation on screen. While Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead, reports suggest she may not be part of this leg due to her current commitments for The Bluff. In the film, Mahesh Babu is expected to play a powerful character named Rudhra, with some buzz hinting at a dual-layered role. Prithviraj’s character Kumbha is said to be intense and unique, as he will appear in a wheelchair.

‘Varanasi’ set for big release in 2027

The shoot of ‘Varanasi’ is likely to be completed by June, after which the team will move into an extensive post-production phase. The movie requires state-of-the-art VFX and heavy editing to deliver the final product. The movie made history as the largest title launch at Ramoji Film City. The movie’s title launch, which is already a date in the calendars of many, is on the 7th of April, 2027, and the schedule in Georgia is now a part of Rajamouli’s grand dream yet to be fulfilled.
