Disha Patani’s father, Jagdish Patani shares details of the call

As reported by India Today, Jagdish later confirmed the call in a video statement, saying the state will ensure complete security for the family. Disha’s father said, “Late at night, I received a call from the Honorable Chief Minister. He offered his condolences to my entire family and said that the whole state stands with us. The Chief Minister assured that there will be no negligence whatsoever in ensuring our security.” He added that CM Yogi stressed the culprits would be pursued “even from the depths of the earth.”

What exactly happened at Disha Patani’s Bareilly house?

The Patani family is still reeling from the shock of the attack. Jagdish told ANI that 8–10 rounds were fired at their Civil Lines home around 4:30 am on Friday. “The gunshots were foreign-made,” he said. He added that two men on a motorcycle carried out the attack and left within 7–8 minutes via the Delhi–Lucknow highway.

The Goldy Brar gang claimed responsibility

Investigations revealed that the attackers had conducted a prior recce of the Patani residence. The Goldy Brar gang has claimed responsibility for the firing, showing that the incident was premeditated.

Khushboo Patani’s alleged comments caused controversy

Reports suggested the firing was linked to Khushboo Patani’s alleged comments on Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj. Jagdish Patani clarified saying, “Khushboo was misrepresented. Her name was dragged into the matter of Premanand Ji Maharaj. We are Sanatanis, and we respect the sadhus and saints. If someone is misrepresenting her statement, it is a conspiracy to demean us.”

Khushboo Patani shares first video post-incident

In her first Instagram video post about the firing incident, Khushboo shared a video demonstrating simple self-defence methods using everyday items. She showed how something as ordinary as a data cable could be used to protect oneself in dangerous situations. However, she did not address anything related to the incident. Go to Source
