Trisha Krishnan hits back on crude comments about her viral PIC

Trisha Krishnan hits back after R Parthiban takes a dig at her post her viral video with Vijay from a wedding: 'It makes stupidity..'

Trisha Krishnan has been in the spotlight recently after she was spotted alongside actor-politician Vijay at a reception ceremony. As photos and videos from the event circulated widely online, filmmaker-actor R Parthiban made remarks about the situation on two separate occasions. Now after his comments, Trisha has now indirectly addressed the matter publicly, calling out what she described as the “stupidity” of the individual involved, though she did not mention anyone by name.Taking to her account on X on Sunday evening, Trisha shared a statement explaining how her name and image were used at a recent event. She wrote, “I was informed by the organisers of a recent event that my name and picture were included at the last minute at the request of an individual conveyed through his assistant.”

She further criticised the remarks made about her and added, “A microphone doesn’t make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity louder. Crude words without knowledge say more about the speaker than the person they’re aimed at.” The response comes after comments made by Parthiban during the Galatta Awards. At the ceremony, he was asked to speak about actors he had worked with in the past. When Trisha’s picture appeared on screen, he made a remark referencing her role as Kundavai and said, “This Kundavai should be kept at home for a few days. That’s good. Don’t let her come out.”The controversy began when Vijay and Trisha were seen arriving together at the reception event. Vijay was carrying a bouquet of flowers, while Trisha greeted attendees with hugs and handshakes. The two walked up to the stage together to congratulate the newlyweds, posed for photographs, and were also seen leaving the venue around the same time.
