Tripti says ‘friendship is very essential’ in a relation, as ‘love can fade’

Tripti Dimri believes ‘friendship is very essential’ in a relationship, as ‘love can fade after a point’ - Exclusive

Remember that famous Shah Rukh Khan dialogue, ‘Pyar dosti hai’? Well, SRK, as Rahul, was only trying to charm his way into a girl’s heart with his words, but these words left a lasting impact on every romantic soul. It appears even the ‘Laila Majnu’ star Tripti Dimri couldn’t help highlighting the importance of friendship in a relationship. During an exclusive conversation with us, the actress spoke on the subject of ‘what it takes to make a relationship last.’ She replied, “I think friendship is very essential.”

Tripti Dimri feels friendship is the key to a healthy and long-lasting relationship

The ‘Dhadak 2’ star further explained, “I feel love as a feeling can fade after a point, but friendship and respect,” they stay. She added, it is essential in a relationship “to just be there for each other in difficult times, because life never goes in one line. There are ups and downs.”“So you can’t just be there for the good times. You have to be equally there for the bad times,” mentioned Tripti Dimri. Highlighting that this should be a trait in both partners, and it is rare, she said, “It should come from both partners. All of that is very essential. Which is difficult to find.”Tripti’s reply came after Madhuri Dixit chimed in on the same subject. She said, “Mutual respect and taking pride in each other’s wins” are important for a lasting relationship. The ‘Fame Game’ star then added, “And being there for each other in your losses; that’s the basic thing.”Last but not least, she highlighted, “You should always be together, and your goals should be to ensure that your kids or family around you are always taken care of.”Tripti Dimri and Madhuri Dixit will soon be seen together in ‘Maa Behen,’ an OTT release. Directed by Suresh Triveni, it is a black comedy thriller.
