Travis’s dad on who witnessed his son’s engagement to Taylor

Travis Kelce’s dad on who saw his engagement to Taylor Swift firsthand; cost of floral decor revealed

The internet is abuzz with the news of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement, and now, the NFL star’s father, Ed Kelce, is sharing new details about the romantic proposal. He has opened up about the special day, revealing everything from his reaction to the happy news to the couple’s plans for a family.According to Just Jared, Ed went on two Australian talk shows where he got candid about his son’s private life, offering a glimpse into the magical moment and their future together. Here’s what he revealed.

Who witnessed the Travis Kelce’s proposal to Taylor Swift and the cost of the beautiful floral arrangements

According to the report, though the couple’s beautiful backyard proposal was a private affair, Ed Kelce revealed that the moment was secretly witnessed by a few. Reportedly, as per Ed, a small team made the arrangements for the proposal. Ed revealed, “As they walked out, she could see, suddenly there’s a lot more flowers out there. That was all decorated by some people that would help Travis out. They got it all ready. They saw them coming and hid in the bushes!” Meanwhile, People reported that the magical scene came with a hefty price tag, with estimates suggesting the flowers and decor alone could have cost up to USD 38,000. Renowned florist Ashley Greer told the publication that the design subtly wove in imagery from Swift’s songs. “Pulling imagery from so many of (Swift’s) songs, a magical garden scene is constructed amidst August forest trees,” she stated. Adding further, Greer estimated the setup required an astonishing 800 pounds of greenery, 1,200 roses, and at least 1,000 other flowers. As per the florist, the 20-foot domed arboretum was the most expensive component of the arrangement. According to her, the design featuring southern smilax vines, moss, roses, anemones, lilies, and candles would likely have cost between USD 18,000 and $30,000 alone. The setup also included two large concrete planters filled with a variety of flowers. Greer estimated that the flowers in each of these urns could have been priced between USD 1,000 and USD 3,000. The ground installation, which featured “boulders, river rocks, plants, white duchess peonies, white scabiosa, ferns, and pockets of roses,” was estimated to have cost an additional USD 4,000 to USD 5,000.

Ed Kelce reveals Taylor and Travis’ future plans

According to the Just Jared report, when Ed Kelce was asked about the couple’s family plans, he was quick to confirm they are on the same page. “Yea, most definitely, they both do,” confirming that the couple wants to start a family. However, when questioned about the potential date and location of the much-anticipated nuptials, he chose to remain silent. He said, “As far as when they’re gonna do this, and where… I’m going to go mute on that!” Go to Source
