Taylor Swift added another historic achievement to her illustrious career as she was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026, becoming the youngest woman ever to receive the honour and the second-youngest inductee of all time.The singer-songwriter arrived at the event in a strapless floral Givenchy gown, posing solo on the red carpet. She was joined on the carpet by fellow singer, Sombr. The two posed for photos together, before heading inside for the ceremony. Once inside, videos saw the singer joined by fiance Travis Kelce, her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, her fiancé Travis Kelce, and her future mother-in-law, Donna Kelce. Although Kelce had reportedly spent the day in Missouri wrapping up a Kansas City Chiefs minicamp, the NFL star suited up to join his lady love at the grand event. The group was also joined by acclaimed filmmaker Steven Spielberg, who was also seated at the same table and seen chatting away during the evening’s celebrations. Videos from inside the ceremony quickly circulated online, showing Swift and Kelce dancing and singing along to Rihanna’s hit ‘Umbrella’, while another clip captured the NFL star looking on at his wife-to-be, smiling as she danced to Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’. The Songwriters Hall of Fame first announced its Class of 2026 inductees in January. Alongside Swift, this year’s honourees include Alanis Morissette, Kenny Loggins, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, Terry Britten and Graham Lyle, and Walter Afanasieff.As per reports, artists become eligible for Songwriters Hall of Fame consideration 20 years after the release of their first commercially released song. For Swift, that milestone was reached with Tim McGraw, the debut single from her self-titled first album, released in June 2006.On the personal front, Taylor has been in the news for her upcoming wedding to Travis.
