In a clip shared on January 20 from the CNN interview, Timothée shared, “I was grumpy on the way there because I didn’t know where she was taking me.” Sharing that Kylie Jenner had planned a surprise for him, he said, “Like, ‘It’s my birthday. Why are we driving 30 minutes outside of L.A.?’”

However, all that changed when he realized the surprise she’d planned for him. As he recalled, “I got to the theater, and it was Interstellar in IMAX.
