'They Call Him OG' Trailer: Fans LEAK Pawan Kalyan's action-packed clip from pre-release event - WATCH

The highly anticipated trailer for ‘They Call Him OG’ starring Powerstar Pawan Kalyan was officially unveiled at the Pre-release event. However, the makers did not release the trailer online. Lucky for fans, some at the event, leaked the clip online. “They call him OG full trailer with clear visuals & audio. Only for fans who are waiting from morning,” read the tweet. The producers for this action drama shifted the trailer release from a morning online debut to a live unveiling at a concert titled #OG Concert on September 21, 2025. It has been touted as one of the biggest releases of this year.The evening kicked off with Pawan Kalyan making a grand entry amidst a heavy downpour. He was greeted by thunderous cheers and applause from fans. The actor extended his heartfelt thanks to his supporters and expressed his gratitude to his team and co-star Emraan Hashmi. The venue was the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad, which drew nearly 40,000 fans. The event promised live performances by the cast and crew. Directed by Sujeeth, this action-packed gangster drama promises to be a visual spectacle, with its stylised shots, intense action sequences, and a powerful performance by Pawan Kalyan in a fresh, new avatar. ‘They Call Him OG’ trailer

The trailer gives a glimpse into the dark and fierce world of a gangster named Ojas Gambheera, played by Kalyan. He returns to Mumbai to reclaim his empire after a hiatus of 10 years. The visuals from the teasers are a mix of high-octane action and a gritty aesthetic.

The makers dropped a series of teasers as a countdown until the trailer release on their official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

Advance box office report

According to sacnilk, the film is set to make a roaring start at the global box office, with trade analysts predicting that the film will become the actor’s biggest-ever opening. With advance bookings overseas bookings already witnessing record-breaking numbers, trade estimates project that ‘They Call Him OG’ could earn over Rs 40 crore from overseas markets on its opening day, while the domestic box office is expected to contribute upwards of Rs 75 crore. If projections hold, the film could deliver a Rs 100-crore worldwide opening. This record would also be a first for Pawan Kalyan.

The trailer also features the film’s star-studded cast, including Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, who is set to make his Telugu debut as the antagonist. Hashmi will be seen as Omi Bhau.
