Since episode 3 ended with a major update, a lot more drama is expected in episode 4. In episode 3, Westbridge Hospital declared a code black, which sent more patients to Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.The official synopsis says the team must manage extra patients on the busiest day of the year. One case involves a patient injured during a parkour accident. The teaser also shows conflict between Dr Al-Hashimi and Dr Santos. Another case hints at a serious medical emergency involving arterial bleeding.

The Pitt is set during a continuous 15-hour emergency room shift. The story takes place at the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. The series was created by R. Scott Gemmill.
