Mindy Kaling has basically become one of Hollywood’s busiest writers. Her hit, ‘The Mindy Project’, ran from 2012 to 2017. After that, she created ‘Champions’, the ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ limited series, ‘Never Have I Ever’, ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’, and most recently, ‘Running Point’. She’s not just behind the scenes, either. Mindy’s acted in films like ‘Ocean’s Eight’, ‘Late Night’, and ‘A Wrinkle in Time’, plus TV shows like ‘The Morning Show’. She’s even lent her voice to animated favorites like ‘Disgust in Inside Out’, ‘Velma in Velma’, and Taffyta Muttonfudge in ‘Wreck-It Ralph’.
On the family front, Mindy welcomed her daughter Katherine in 2017, kept the father’s identity private, and then had her son Spencer three years later. In 2024, she announced her daughter Anne had arrived. As for her Office friendships, she’s still super close with B.J. Novak, whom he dated back in the day.
