The trailer picks up in the aftermath of the discovery of a dead body in the trunk of Mickey Haller’s car. It’s a former client, a conman called Sam Scales, and Mickey’s charged with his murder. Of course, he hasn’t done it, but whoever’s framed him has done a pretty good job, as he soon finds out that it gets increasingly difficult for him to prove his innocence. The longline of the fourth season reads, “On trial for a murder he didn’t commit, Mickey must face a relentless DA as he fights to prove his innocence, expose the real killer and save his firm.”

Most “emotional” season yet?

In a new interview with Tudum, ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez hyped the upcoming fourth season by calling it “without hesitation… our most personal and emotional season yet. It presents the biggest stakes and the biggest challenge for Mickey and his team because now Mickey’s the client.”
