‘The Boys Finale’: Fans worry about getting disappointed

‘The Boys Season 5 Episode 8’: Is the finale destined to be doomed? Worried fans say, ‘Please don’t fumble’

‘The Boys’ series finale looks forward to having no remorse in sight, going all the way till the job is completed. With the motto of ‘no matter the cost,’ the makers shared the trailer for one last time – and the internet has spoken. Heat vision, revenge plans, and the immortal sadistic good complex, fans are convinced that the season 5, episode 8 is going to be diabolical, expressing their unsettling thoughts of what might happen. While the bloodbath is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the trailer for the episode titled ‘Blood and Bone’ has taken over the internet for a moment with mixed reviews.

Fans worry ‘The Boys’ finale to meet the same fate as ‘Game of Thrones,’ and ‘Stranger Things’

“Superheroes are done,” Billy Butcher said by the end of the 35-second trailer – raising the stakes. However, after watching a glimpse of the last episode, fans are worried whether the finale will be a disappointment like other beloved series. Drawing comparisons between ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Stranger Things,’ and ‘The Boys’ as the holy trinity, many are afraid the show might get a disheartening ending after a legendary and generational run. Meanwhile, others have kept their high hopes up and cheered for their characters – especially The Deep – in the comment section.
