Riding high on the success of hits like Stree, Munjya, Bhediya and Stree 2, the latest installment of Horror-Comedy Universe is all set to introduce Vampires with Ayushmann Khurrana- Rashmika Mandanna’s Thamma. The film also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal, while it is being directed by Aditya Sarpotdar- who earlier directed Abhay Verma and Sharvari’s sleeper hit film Munjya.
Thanks to the long standing and good reputation of previous hits in the series, Thamma which is all set to release on 21st October on the occasion of Diwali has taken a good start at the advance booking window. As per Sacnilk, the film has till now collected Rs 5.03 crore but as they say devil lies in the detail- of the total collection about Rs 3.4 crore has come from block bookings.
As far as organic ticket sales are concerned, Rs 1.63 crore has from it selling more than 57,000 tickets with maximum tickets being sold in Maharashtra. But with 2 more days to go for the release of the film one can expect major jumps which would lead to the film taking an opening between Rs 15 to Rs 20 crore, a good solid number for introducing new characters in the universe.
