After the release of ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, Dhanush and Kriti Sanon surprised their fans with a visit to Mumbai’s iconic Gaiety Galaxy theatre in Bandra. The news of their presence spread quickly, drawing a huge crowd eager to capture photos and videos. In that rush Dhanush instinctively moved ahead and safeguarded Kriti Sanon.

Box office momentum

Tere Ishk Mein opened with impressive numbers. According to Sacnilk’s report, the film collected around Rs 16.50 crore on Day 1. This strong start places it ahead of several major 2025 releases, including ‘Jolly LLB 3’ and ‘Sitaare Zameen Par,’ which earned Rs 12 crore and Rs 10.70 crore respectively.

Story of ‘Tere Ishk Mein’

The film explores an intense romantic journey shaped by passion, conflict, and destiny. It tells the intense love story of Shankar and Mukti against the backdrop of Benaras. The movie is the sequel to Dhanush’s ‘Raanjhanna.’ It was directed by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma, with music by AR Rahman.
