‘Tere Ishk Mein’ collections drop ahead of ‘Dhurandhar’ clash

'Tere Ishk Mein' box office collection Day 7: Dhanush–Kriti Sanon starrer drops to Rs 5.75 crore ahead of weekend clash with Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar'

Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ closed its first week at the box office by crossing the Rs 100 crore milestone worldwide. However, after a strong run through the weekend and steady weekdays, the film witnessed a noticeable dip in collections on Day 7, just as it gears up for a major box office showdown with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ this weekend.According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the romantic drama collected around Rs 5.75 crore on Day 7, marking a gradual decline in collections, as the film heads into a competitive second weekend. Despite the drop, the film has delivered an impressive first-week performance, maintaining steady momentum across all major circuits. The film opened with an estimated Rs 16 crore on Friday and scored its highest weekend collections, earning Rs 17 crore on Saturday and its highest collection of Rs 19 crore on Sunday. After a predictable Monday slowdown to Rs 8.75 crore, collections rose again to Rs 10.25 crore on Tuesday. Wednesday brought in around Rs 6.85 crore, followed by Thursday’s estimated Rs 5.75 crore, taking the India net total to approximately Rs 83.60 crore at the end of Week 1.Domestically, the film has been able to maintain its hold over the box office on weekdays. Industry reports indicate retention in metropolitan regions, including Mumbai, Delhi–NCR, and Bengaluru, while mass centres have also held up well. Meanwhile, according to the report, the film earned around Rs 99.50 crore gross from India alone, thus becoming Dhanush’s biggest Bollywood hit.Overseas performance has been modest, with the film earning an estimated Rs 8.5 crore gross. While it is low, it is said to be in line with expectations for a romantic film. The domestic earnings coupled with the overseas collections has pushed the film’s worldwide total to above Rs 108 crore in just seven days. This also makes the movie the first Rs 100 crore Bollywood grosser of Dhanush’s career and the seventh for Kriti.
