‘Tere Ishk Mein’ box office prediction day 1

'Tere Ishk Mein' box office prediction day 1: The Dhanush, Kriti Sanon film likely to open at Rs 9 to 11 crore with good advance bookings, set to beat 'Raanjhanaa'

Kriti Sanon and Dhanush starrer ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ is releasing in theatres today, November 28. The film has managed to score a decent number as far as the advance booking sales are concerned. The trailer of this Aanand L Rai movie was unveiled a few days ago and it became a rage. The film also has managed to create a good amount of buzz. Moreover, there’s no major competition for it at the moment as the films currently running in theatres have begun to slow down and were not getting a good response anyway – like ‘Masti 4’ and ‘120 Bahadur’ apart from ‘De De Pyaar De’ which has now entered its third week. ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ is releasing in Tamil and Hindi both, thus will also get the benefit from the south which is a market for Dhanush’s films. According to Sacnilk, the film has sold around 2,40,780 tickets in its advance bookings and has around 13635 shows allotted so far. Thus, it has made Rs 5.64 crore from the advance bookings itself. The number is expected to increase by the end of the day, in the night shows, though positive word of mouth which may lead to spot bookings. The film may be expected to open in the range of Rs 9 to 11 crore on day 1. Meanwhile, with this, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ is set to be the biggest Hindi opener for Dhanush and it has already crossed the day 1 collection of ‘Raanjhanaa’ which was in the Rs 5-6c crore range. The intense romantic genre is currently enjoying a good time at the box office and one saw that in case of ‘Saiyaara’ and also more recently ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’. Thus, even ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ is expected to do a good business if the word of mouth for the film is good and it sees growth over the weekend.
