'Mirai' box office collection day 4: Teja Sajja-Manchu Manoj adventure action film collects Rs 6 crore, crosses Rs 50 crore mark

Teja Sajja is basking in success with the latest fantasy adventure release, ‘Mirai’. The movie was released last weekend and had a strong start at the box office, but it has taken a dip on the first weekday. Early estimates suggest that the movie managed to earn Rs 6 crore on its first Monday.According to a report by trade analyst Sacnilk, the movie collected Rs 13 crore on the opening day. Later, it went on to collect good numbers, as it minted Rs 15 crore and Rs 16 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. On the first Monday, the movie only made over Rs 6 crore, as expected; being the first weekday, the numbers were anticipated to take a dip. The total collection of the films comes to around Rs 50.6 crore domestically.

Theatre occupancy

Speaking of the film’s theatre occupancy, on Monday, the film had a dip in the Hindi occupancy as it only recorded an over 11.14 percent occupancy. The morning shows were at 5.64 percent, and began to improve to 10.92 percent in the afternoon. Later in the evening, the show was at 12.65 percent and then ended the day with night shows at 15.36 percent. The Telugu version of ‘Mirai’ had a relatively better occupancy, maintaining stronger numbers across the day. The film had an overall 35.72 percent Telugu occupancy on Monday. Morning shows were at 21.81 percent, which rose to 34.47 percent in the afternoon. Evening shows were at 38.71 percent and reached 47.89 percent in the night.

About ‘Mirai’

Talking about the film, it is directed and cinematographed by Karthik Gattamneni and stars Teja Sajja as a Super Yodha who is destined to protect the nine sacred scriptures from the dark force that wants to use them to take over control of the world. Manchu Manoj plays the main antagonist of the film.

The film also stars Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Ritika Nayak, and Tanja Keller.
