Taylor Swift DENIES 'bear' cameo in 'Happy Gilmore 2'; shares love for the classic film: 'I'm honoured to be thought of…'

Taylor Swift has finally ended all the speculation that she had a cameo as a bear in ‘Happy Gilmore 2’. She appeared on the ‘New Heights’ podcast, hosted by her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason Kelce. When Jason asked Swift if she could “confirm or deny” the rumours, she replied with a laugh, “I can deny!””This is one of those where, like, we’ll send it to each other and be like, ‘Hey, did you hear I was the bear in there?’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah, did you hear we bought a house in Lake Como?’ At this point, we’re just like, of course, they think I’m inside of a bear costume,” she added, as reported by PEOPLE.

Honouring the classic film she loves

Talking about the rumours, Swift said, “I’m honoured to be thought of in that context because I loved that movie so much. I watched it multiple times. I loved it so much,” showing her affection for the original ‘Happy Gilmore’ from 1996.Even though she wasn’t in the movie, Swift clearly feels connected to the film and enjoys being part of the conversation around it.
