Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria sure knows how to get fans hyped up for the release of ‘Toxic’, starring actor Yash in the lead role.As fans count down to the release of the film, the actress, who was at the Cannes Film Festival, spilled the beans about the film and also teased some epic sequences set to unfold on the big screen.Tara Sutaria on working on ‘Toxic’Speaking about working on the film and her time on the sets, Tara shared, “Doing Toxic, to me, is so satisfactory. It’s so pleasing. And I also just want to be on sets that make me feel good, that are led well with integrity and with purpose and intention.”Tara Sutaria on Geetu MohandasThe actor went on to commend Geetu Mohandas’ direction and leadership style, saying, “We have all of these things with Geetu Mohandas and with Yash. It has been the joy of my life to work with Geetu and to be led by a woman… a world of a difference, on set.”Sutaria also hinted at the scale and tone of the film, revealing that the women in the story play particularly powerful roles. Speaking about her character Rebecca, she said, “She’s fascinating. All of the women in this film are fascinating. It’s an ensemble cast film. Everyone has immense power, courage, is fearless.” The actor further teased, ” It’s fabulous. I think it’s globally going to be something that people don’t expect.”Tara Sutaria teases Avengers-like sceneIn a lighter moment during the interaction, Sutaria teased slow-motion shots, much like those seen in Marvel’s supehero film ‘The Avengers’. When asked whether fans could expect to see all the leading women of the film coming together in an epic scene, Tara said, “We’ll see… I feel like it’ll be there.”‘Toxic’ postponed againYash fans will have to wait a bit longer to catch the superstar on the big screens after the release of ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ was postponed from its June 4 date after a strong reception at CinemaCon.Yas releases statement on ‘Toxic’ releaseIn a statement released on April 29, the actor shared that the film will now hit theatres worldwide on a new date, which will be announced soon. Explaining the reason behind the delay, Yash shared a statement, “There are films we make, and then there are films that remind us why we fell in love with cinema. ‘Toxic’ has been one such journey. Presenting our film at CinemaCon and witnessing the overwhelming global response reaffirmed what we have always believed: this film deserves to reach its fullest potential worldwide.”‘While we will not be releasing on June 4 as announced earlier, we will be releasing at a later, globally aligned date.”
