Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria will next be seen in the upcoming high scale gangster action drama ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups,’ starring Yash and directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film has been one of the most talked-about projects, and the audience has waited much longer because it has been delayed. Recently, the actress reacted to the film being pushed multiple times. In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter India, Tara Sutaria shared that she is not worried about the film taking time to release. She shared that she always thinks about the bigger picture. The actress said, “I am very patient. I don’t look at it as, ‘If it doesn’t release right away, what will happen to me?’ I am thinking about the bigger picture.”

Tara Sutaria on the film’s delay

Sutaria also explained that a film is not just about one actor. She said every person who worked on the movie is important. According to her, actors may not always know everything happening behind the scenes like producers and directors do.The actress added, “As an actor, you can’t look at the film as yours. It does not belong to you. It belongs to everybody who created it. There are reasons behind the delay, and I genuinely think those reasons are valid.” Sutaria also said that she understands the audience is eagerly awaiting the movie. The ‘Student of the Year 2’ actress admitted that she feels the same excitement, too. Still, she believes the delay will help the film become even bigger.“I completely understand the audience’s eagerness to watch the film. Trust me, I feel the same way, but I believe the wait will ultimately benefit the film and help it receive the kind of global embrace we are hoping for. It is definitely worth the wait,” she added.

Why was ‘Toxic’ delayed again?

The film was first planned for a worldwide release on March 19. Later, the makers shifted it to June 4 to avoid a box office clash with another film and because of tensions happening in West Asia. After that, Yash announced another delay. In his statement, Yash shared that Toxic is a very special project for the team. He said the huge response they received at CinemaCon made them believe the film deserves a bigger worldwide release. In ‘Toxic,’ Tara Sutaria is seen playing a key figure, Rebecca. It also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles. The makers are yet to announce the new release date. Go to Source
