Exciting news for ‘Alien: Earth’ fans! Star Sydney Chandler has revealed that filming for the highly anticipated Season 2 is set to commence in May. While scripts are still in development, production is confirmed to begin soon, with filming locations including Thailand and London. The new season is expected to continue Wendy’s revolutionary journey after her takeover of Neverland Island.

Sydney Chandler talks ‘Alien: Earth 2’ production update

On Thursday, Chandler attended the Texas Film Awards, where she discussed the upcoming season of ‘Alien: Earth.’ In an interview with Deadline, the star revealed that while she has not yet seen any scripts for the confirmed season, there is still much excitement about the show. Despite this, the report also stated that Chandler confirmed the production process is all set to begin in May this year.

While filming for the second season was confirmed a while back to take place in Thailand and London, the date had not been announced. It has also been reported that the London studios where the series will film are the same ones used for the series prequel, ‘Prometheus’. Not only that, but one of the original franchise films from 1979, ‘Alien 3’, was also filmed in those same studios.The second season is predicted to pick up right after the Season 1 finale, where Wendy (played by Chandler) takes over Neverland Island. She leads a revolution against the very people who created her and transformed her from Marcy Hermit into a hybrid. Besides Chandler, the series also stars big names such as Timothy Olyphant (‘Santa Clarita Diet’), Richa Moorjani (‘Never Have I Ever’), Alex Lawther (‘The End of the F…ing World’), Lily Newmark (‘Cursed’), Adarsh Gourav (‘Tu Yaa Main’), and many others.
