Swara Bhasker calls Kangana Ranaut ‘Destiny’s Child’

Swara Bhasker calls Kangana Ranaut ‘Destiny’s Child’, says ‘I don’t think she gives up in life’; Fahad Ahmad has a contrasting opinion

Kangana Ranaut and Swara Bhasker may have had their share of public spats, but in a recent chat, Swara surprised many by choosing a rather positive hashtag for her contemporary. Asked to describe Kangana on celebrity hashtag segment, Swara said she would call her “#Destiny’sChild”, admiring her resilience and journey.

Swara’s take on Kangana

“She has something very admirable about her and her journey. #NeverGiveUp, I don’t think she gives up in life,” Swara told Filmygyan, pointing out that the actor-turned-politician’s spirit deserves credit regardless of differences.

Fahad’s contrasting opinion

Her husband Fahad Ahmad, however, didn’t mince words. A member of the NCP(SP), he responded, “I can’t comment on her because she is a bad politician, but I will say #BadPolitician.”

‘Paranoid parent’ Swara Bhasker takes a ‘break’ from Diwali party: ‘Unfortunately, I am in Delhi and the quality of air…’

When Swara looked at him in surprise, Fahad explained his stance by citing Kangana’s response during floods in her constituency, Mandi. “She should have fought for special funds and gone beyond political vote,” he said, though he added, “She is a really good actor and I really like her as an actor, but she is a very bad politician.”

A reminder of Kangana’s past gesture

Fahad also recalled that despite their political differences, Kangana had sent them warm wishes when he and Swara got married in 2023, praising them as a compatible couple. But even as he repeated his “#BadPolitician” tag, Swara playfully scolded him: “Pachas bar maat bol (Don’t say it 50 times).”
