Reportedly, a police officer confirmed, “We have been told he may not have been getting the kind of projects he had been expecting in recent times… we are probing that angle as well. We have been told he was suffering from depression.”Soumyadeep Guin had worked extensively in the Tollywood film industry. He has earned a good name by collaborating with prominent names like Raja Chanda and cinematographer-director Premendu Bikash Chaki. He is survived by his wife and a young daughter.
