Sunny shares RARE photo of Bobby and mother to celebrate Bandar

‘So Happy Bob’: Sunny Deol shares RARE photo of Bobby Deol and mother Prakash Kaur to celebrate ‘Bandar’ success

Sunny Deol celebrated his brother Bobby Deol’s success in Bandar by sharing a rare and heartwarming photo of Bobby with their mother Prakash Kaur. The film, directed by Anurag Kashyap, earned Rs 1.45 crore in two days. Bobby plays a singer-actor falsely accused of sexual assault in the film.

Sunny Deol proved once again that family comes first. The actor took to social media to cheer for his younger brother Bobby Deol’s success in ‘Bandar’, sharing a heartwarming and rare photograph of Bobby alongside their mother, Prakash Kaur. The gesture was simple yet touching. With ‘Bandar’ emerging as another big win for Bobby, it adds to the remarkable career resurgence he has been enjoying ever since ‘Animal’ put him firmly back in the spotlight.

Sunny Deol’s post for Bobby Deol wins hearts

The actor took to Instagram to post a tender photograph of their mother Prakash Kaur planting a kiss on Bobby Deol’s cheek, a moment that said more than words ever could. Alongside the image, he wrote, “So happy, Bob. Love you.” The post quickly drew warm reactions, with Twinkle Khanna responding with heart emojis. Fans too flooded the comments with love. One wrote, “Kisi ke najar na lage.” Another chimed in with, “Paji u also deserve a kiss from ur fans for ur power pack performance in BANDAR.”

Bobby Deol’s ‘Bandar’ shows growth on day two

‘Bandar’, Anurag Kashyap’s latest crime drama led by Bobby Deol, showed some signs of growth at the box office on day two, even as the numbers continue to stay modest. Critics have largely been kind to the film since its Friday release, with many singling out Bobby Deol’s act as its biggest strength. According to Sacnilk, Saturday’s collection at Rs 95 lakh, which is a healthy jump over the Rs 50 lakh it pulled in on opening day. That said, the film is yet to cross the Rs 1 crore threshold on any single day.

Bobby Deol’s ‘Bandar’ faces tough competition at the box office

At the end of its second day, Bandar’s cumulative net collection in India sits at Rs 1.45 crore, with the gross earnings reaching Rs 1.74 crore. The road ahead looks challenging, as the film finds itself in the middle of a busy theatrical landscape. Competing for eyeballs are ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ with Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur, Ram Charan’s sports drama ‘Peddi’, and Hollywood horror entry ‘Obsession’, all of which are drawing their own share of audiences to cinemas at the same time.

What is Bobby Deol’s ‘Bandar’ about?

The film is about Samar, played by Bobby Deol, a singer-actor whose career is already on the decline when things get worse. A woman named Gayatri, played by Sapna Pabbi, files a sexual assault complaint against him, leading to his arrest. The case soon catches media attention, turning his life upside down. Samar insists he is innocent and claims that Gayatri has been stalking him. But the system he is up against is corrupt and deeply flawed, making his fight for justice an uphill battle. The title Bandar captures his situation perfectly, a man being pushed from one problem to another with no control over what happens to him. Go to Source
