Sunny Deol shared a rare public moment with his step-sisters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol on Sunday as the trio attended the screening of Border 2 in Mumbai. Before entering the venue, Sunny, Esha and Ahana paused to pose for the paparazzi, smiling warmly for the cameras.The siblings were seen standing together, with Sunny positioned between Esha and Ahana, gently resting his hands on their shoulders. The appearance marked their first public outing together since their father, veteran actor Dharmendra, passed away last year.

Later in the evening, Sunny made a surprise visit to Mumbai’s iconic Gaiety Galaxy theatre, delighting fans who had gathered to watch Border 2. As he arrived in his car, fans rushed towards the entrance, chanting his name and cheering loudly.


Inside the theatre, Sunny was joined by Ahan Shetty, son of Suniel Shetty. The two waved at the audience and thanked fans for the overwhelming love showered on the film, prompting loud applause and whistles from the crowd.

Dharmendra honoured with Padma Vibhushan
Meanwhile, the Centre on Sunday announced the Padma Awards 2026, naming Dharmendra as a Padma Vibhushan awardee posthumously. The legendary actor, who passed away on November 24, 2025, was conferred the country’s second-highest civilian honour in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to Indian cinema.
Dharmendra remained active till the very end, earning praise for his performances in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023) and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
