With this updated date, ‘Gabru’ successfully steers clear of a box office clash with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ and Yash’s ‘Toxic’, both arriving on March 19.

Khan was approached and he loved the part and its contribution to the film. He quietly shot the film more than a year ago and it has shaped up well.

On the work front, Sunny Deol was last seen in ‘Border 2’, which has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. Besides ‘Gabru’, he will also appear in ‘Lahore 1947’, slated for release on August 13, 2026. The film features an impressive cast including Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Mithun Chakraborty, Ali Fazal, and Karan Deol, and is produced by Aamir Khan.
