Sunita jokes about Govinda’s hair patch: ‘What’s there to hide?

Sunita Ahuja jokes about Govinda's hair patch: 'What's there to hide? Many heroes do it'; clarifies viral GOAT remark after trolling

Sunita Ahuja has addressed the trolling she faced after a viral clip in which she appeared confused by the term “GOAT” while referring to husband Govinda. In a recent interview, Sunita clarified that she was unaware that GOAT stood for “Greatest Of All Time” and initially thought people were referring to an actual goat.

‘I thought they meant a real goat’

Recalling the incident while speaking to Mashable India, Sunita said she misunderstood the Gen Z term during a previous appearance and was surprised by the backlash that followed.“I even said, ‘My husband is not a goat.’ I was actually going to say my husband is a lion,” she said. She further explained that she only later learned that GOAT is an acronym for “Greatest Of All Time.”“If I had known the meaning, I would have said it immediately. Govinda is the GOAT because there is no actor like him,” she added.Addressing those who criticised her online, Sunita urged people not to judge her without understanding the context.“I never insulted my husband. Why would I? He’s the greatest for me,” she said, adding that many people reacted without knowing what had actually happened during the conversation.Sunita also maintained that she has always spoken honestly and does not believe in pretending for public approval.

Sunita jokes about Govinda’s hair patch

During the chat, Sunita also spoke about the early days of her romance with Govinda and described him as extremely handsome when they first met.“Even now he looks handsome, but at that time he had his original hair. Now he wears a patch,” she joked. The candid remark left the host laughing, but Sunita insisted there was nothing unusual about discussing hair patches openly.Sunita said people should not be embarrassed about hair treatments or patches because they are common in the entertainment industry.“What’s there to hide? Many heroes do it. Men and women both use patches,” she said.

‘Govinda is one of a kind’

Despite the trolling and jokes, Sunita made it clear that her admiration for her husband remains unchanged.Calling Govinda a unique talent, she said, “My husband is one piece. There has never been anyone like him in the industry and there never will be.”
