SRK says playing a Vampire will be ‘BLOODY GOOD IDEA’

Shah Rukh Khan says playing a Vampire will be 'BLOODY GOOD IDEA'; fans root for his horror film debut

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan may not be in a mood to make more romantic films, but it seems like another genre has caught his attention. The actor, who claimed the throne as the King of Romance, has been making waves as Bollywood’s action star. After two back-to-back successes in the spy film ‘Pathaan’ and the action movie ‘Jawan’, SRK will present fans with another action film ‘King’. However, going by his latest post he may just be ready to explore a genre he’s never ventured into — horror.

Move over team Edward, because SRK has expressed interest in possibly playing a Vampire. During an interactive #AskSRK session on social media, the actor dropped a playful hint that has fans buzzing with excitement.A fan asked in a tweet, “You should seriously consider playing a vampire someday… you love the night, barely age, always dressed to kill… and we all know what you do to your co-stars’ necks on screen haha… What say?” With his trademark wit, Shah Rukh replied, “Bloody good idea!!!”

Fans react to SRK’s Vampire era

The quip instantly sent social media into a frenzy, with fans flooding the comments section, urging the actor to take on a dark, supernatural role. Many expressed how perfectly the description fit SRK’s charm and timeless appeal, calling him “the ultimate desi Dracula.” Going by the tweets, fans have been waiting for SRK’s ‘Vampire era’ for several years, and they are now rejoicing at the possibility of seeing the actor sinking his teeth into this genre. When another fan asked him, ” Why do you look younger every year? Is this black magic or skincare sorcery?” He gave a cheeky reply that read, “Actually, honest truth…Dil toh bachcha hai ji that’s why. And a lot of it is….in the eye of the beholder thing.” While Shah Rukh Khan has tried romance, action, drama, sci-fi and superhero, he’s yet to headline a horror or mythological film.Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to celebrate his 60th birthday this weekend. The superstar, in his chat with fans, spoke about the possibility of keeping up with tradition and making an appearance at the Mannat gates on his birthday.
