Shah Rukh Khan pays tribute to 26/11, Pahalgam and Delhi blast victims; Ranveer Singh, Sara Tendulkar, Manisha Koirala join him at Global Peace Honours 2025

Shah Rukh Khan recently attended the Global Peace Honours 2025 in Mumbai, where he delivered an emotional and powerful address. The actor paid tribute to the martyrs of India and remembered the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the Pahalgam terror attack, and the recent Delhi blast. His speech, filled with dignity and compassion, struck a deep chord with the audience.

SRK’s tribute to victims and brave soldiers

On stage, Shah Rukh Khan began by honouring those who lost their lives in major terror attacks over the years.He said, “My humble tribute to the innocent people who lost their lives in the 26/11 terrorist attack, the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and the recent Delhi blasts and my respectful salute to our brave security personnel who were martyred in these attacks.”SRK then recited heartfelt lines dedicated to the soldiers and jawans of India, celebrating their courage and sacrifice.He said, “Jab koi poochhe tumse ki kya karte ho, to seena thok kar kehna main desh ki raksha karta hu. Poochhe agar koi, ki kitna kama lete ho, halke se muskura kar kehna, ‘140 crore logon ki duayein kama leta hu.’ Aur agar mudkar phir bhi poochhe tumse, ki ‘kabhi dar nahi lagta?’ Toh aankh se aankh milaakar kehna, ‘jo humpe hamla karte hain, unko lagta hai.’”

‘Let us walk the path of humanity,’ says SRK

Emphasising unity and harmony, Shah Rukh urged people to put aside discrimination of all kinds and stand together as a nation. He said, “Let us all take steps towards peace together. Let us forget the caste, creed, and discrimination around us and walk the path of humanity so that the martyrdom of our heroes for the peace of our country is not in vain.”

A star-studded night in Mumbai

The Global Peace Honours 2025 saw several Bollywood stars and public figures in attendance. Celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Suniel Shetty, Rajat Bedi, Zayed Khan, Sara Tendulkar, Avneet Kaur, Anu Malik, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Manisha Koirala, AP Dhillon and Karisma Kapoor graced the red carpet.
