SRK in ‘Jailer 2’?

Speculations are rife that SRK will have a cameo in the upcoming film ‘Jailer 2’, the highly anticipated follow-up to Rajinikanth’s 2023 blockbuster.This buzz comes months after director Lokesh Kanagaraj roped in Aamir Khan for a cameo in ‘Coolie’. The buzz has now shifted to Nelson Dilipkumar’s ‘Jailer’ sequel, with reports suggesting that the team is eyeing a “major Hindi superstar” to amp up the film’s scale. Although there is no confirmation about the same, fans have been speculating the possibility of SRK sharing the frame with Rajini.

About the viral SRK buzz

Various reports doing the rounds also claim that SRK’s portions for the film have been tentatively scheduled for a March 2026. A Sacnilk report claims that a Bollywood A-lister is indeed being considered for a pivotal appearance in the film, however, it goes on to state that Shah Rukh’s name remains unverified at this stage.Interestingly, SRK was reportedly approached for a cameo in ‘Coolie’ as well. However, the actor, had reportedly turned down the offer for undisclosed reasons.

About ‘Jailer 2’

‘Jailer 2’ reportedly picks up directly after the events of the first film, following Muthuvel Pandian as he goes up against an idol-smuggling syndicate seeking revenge. The sequel is said to chart his pursuit of this new criminal network, delving deeper into his family dynamics while showcasing an even more fearsome incarnation of his iconic alter ego, ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian.

SRK working on ‘King’

As of now, the SRK is currently busy working on his own action venture titled ‘King’. The film will see the superstar co-starring with his daughter, Suhana Khan, for the film time. The movie will also mark a special reunion with SRK and his former co-stars like Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan and many others. While there is no fixed date set for the film’s release, reports state that the makers are eyeing a 2026 release.
