‘Sri Chidambaram Garu’ OTT: Where to watch

'Sri Chidambaram Garu' OTT release: When and where to watch Vamsi Tummala's heartfelt drama online

The Telugu romantic drama ‘Sri Chidambaram Garu,’ which had a brief theatrical run, is now set for its digital premiere on ETV Win on February 26. The film, centered on Solomon’s journey of self-worth in a rural setting, explores themes of acceptance and personal growth.

‘Sri Chidambaram Garu’ is finally heading to streaming. The Telugu romantic drama, which hit cinemas on February 6 this year did not enjoy a lengthy box-office journey. The team had initially scheduled the OTT debut for February 19. However, this plan changed and the updated digital release date has been locked in.

New premiere date out

The streaming platform officially announced the revised date via its social media channels. The caption read, “New date. Same blockbuster magic. The film that touched millions is ready to shine again. Sri Chidambaram Garu premieres Feb 26 on @etvwin.” The movie will stream on ETV Win.

A story rooted in rural emotions

Set in a Godavari-side village in Godavari region the emotional drama follows Solomon who is also known as Chidambaram played by Vamsi Tummala. He is mocked for his squint eye and often hides behind dark goggles and a borrowed identity. The film explores themes of self-worth and acceptance. It focuses on how small moments can change a person’s belief in themselves.

Box office performance

The film recorded a modest box-office performance. Reports from the Sacnilk website says that the cumulative India gross stood at Rs 26 lakhs by February 8, 2026 (Day 3). Our ETimes wrote, “Director Vinay Ratnam tells Solomon’s story with tenderness. The film is less about big plot twists and more about emotional accumulation — the small moments that shape a person. Vamsi Tummala delivers an earnest performance, bringing vulnerability to Solomon’s guarded personality. He makes you feel the character’s discomfort; the way he wants to disappear and yet longs to belong. Sandhya Vasishta complements him with sincerity, lending the romance a gentle, grounded charm rather than dramatic flourish.”With it’s OTT release, ‘Sri Chidambaram Garu’ is expected to find more audiences even though it didn’t get much box office revenue which is expected for a heartwarming drama.
