The filming of ‘Spirit’ officially commenced on November 23 with a grand muhurat puja in Hyderabad. The ceremony turned into a celebration for fans as megastar Chiranjeevi graced the event as the special guest of honour. Backed by producer Bhushan Kumar and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film marks yet another powerful collaboration after Animal.
Deepika Padukone’s exit still a talking point
‘Spirit’ has been in the limelight for months, particularly after Deepika Padukone withdrew from the project. Reports claimed creative disagreements, especially over an eight-hour workday clause, led to her exit. Around the same time, she also stepped away from Kalki 2898 AD 2, another film starring Prabhas.
Kajol in talks for a major role
Adding to the current buzz, Reports say that Bollywood actress Kajol has been approached for a significant role in the Prabhas starrer. While Kareena Kapoor’s name was earlier associated with the project, she clarified she was not part of Spirit. Kajol has reportedly heard the narration and is impressed with the role offered.
