Sophie Turner says she 'won’t be watching' ‘Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’: 'But I'll be rooting for you’

Sophie Turner, who portrayed Sansa Stark, revealed she won’t be watching the upcoming ‘Knights of the Seven Kingdoms’ spinoff due to ‘crazy anxiety’ associated with the ‘Game of Thrones’ universe. While she supports the new cast, Turner feels her time with the franchise has concluded, stating her ‘watch has ended’ after a fulfilling experience.

Fans of ‘Game of Thrones’ have always actively wondered what the original cast of ‘GoT’ thinks of the new spinoffs. In a recent public appearance, actress Sophie Turner shared her thoughts on the upcoming ‘Knights of the Seven Kingdoms’ release and whether she will be tuning in or not.

As per E!News, the actress attended the premiere screening of her upcoming web series ‘Steal’ on January 12. When asked about her thoughts on the upcoming ‘GoT’ spinoff, Turner revealed that while she is looking forward to it and fully supports all of the actors, she will not be tuning in for the show anytime soon.She shared, “If I’m totally honest, anything Game of Thrones, I don’t think I can [watch]. I can’t even hear the theme tune. It gives me crazy anxiety.” She further added that while she had the time of her life on the show when she played Sansa Stark, however, she is unable to watch anything ever related to it.

While she is unable to watch the show, Turner added that she understands how exciting and amazing an experience it must be for Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell, who are leading the latest spinoff. She added words of encouragement for the two and shared, “I’m really excited for the actors on it and I think it’ll probably be incredible, because it is that universe, so, good luck to everyone involved. I won’t be watching it, but I’ll be rooting for you.”Sansa Stark will not return to the ‘GoT’ universe anytime soonIn an earlier interview with Sky News, the actress shared that she was happy with her character’s ending and that it may be time to bid adieu to the character. “I think it’s time to say goodbye to Sansa. I’m ready-ish to say goodbye to her. I think my watch has ended,” she concluded.
