Sonakshi Sinha recently joined the bandwagon of actors, filmmakers, and producers talking about work hours in showbiz. According to the actress, it all depends on the kind of project one is doing. Here’s what the actress has to say about the topic, which started after Deepika Padukone’s exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’.

In a recent interview, Sonakshi Sinha shed some light on the ongoing debate of long work hours. Mid Day quoted the actress saying, “I’ve worked for eight hours, and I’ve worked for 18! It depends on the project and the people involved.”

The actress further added that she feels if things were more organized, “a lot of what takes 14 hours on set could be done in eight. Plus, the crew works much longer than us.”Sinha stated that the crew arrive earlier and leave later than the actors. She further added that they have their families as well. She emphasized the need of having a “structure so everyone can have a life outside work.”

Sonakshi Sinha’s projects

Sonakshi Sinha will next feature in a Telugu film titled ‘Jatadhara’. With this, she will be making her debut in Telugu cinema. Talking about the same, she expressed that language is not a barrier for the audience any more. She shared that everyone now watches content from different countries. Sonakshi said, “So, why should it be [a barrier] for actors?”Starring Sudheer Babu as the male lead, the film is set to release in theaters on November 7, 2025.
