Palash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana have officially begun their pre-wedding festivities. Recently, Palash’s sister, Palak Muchhal, shared a few glimpses from the Haldi ceremony held on November 21. In one picture, she appears emotional while applying haldi to her brother. Another photo shows her happily posing with her husband, lyricist-composer Mithoon.For the ceremony, the groom-to-be wore a white kurta and looked as charming as ever. The love story of Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana and Bollywood composer-filmmaker Palash Muchhal began in 2019 with a chance meeting that blossomed into a deep, meaningful relationship. Despite being public figures—Smriti in the world of cricket and Palash in music—they chose to keep their bond private for almost five years.Their connection was clear in the way they supported each other. Palash was one of the most enthusiastic supporters when India clinched the historic ICC Women’s ODI World Cup against South Africa on November 2, 2025, at DY Patil Stadium.The couple is now set to get married on November 23 in Smriti’s hometown, Sangli, Maharashtra.

Who Is Palash Muchhal?

Palash Muchhal is an Indian music composer, songwriter, and filmmaker known for his work in Bollywood as well as the independent music scene. Born on 22 May 1995 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, he is also the younger brother of popular playback singer Palak Muchhal.He rose to prominence as one of the youngest composers to enter mainstream Hindi cinema. Over the years, Palash has created music for films, TV projects, and several independent singles released by top Indian music labels. He has directed more than 40 music videos for major companies like T-Series and Zee Music, and even acted in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.Currently, he is directing the film Ardh, featuring Rajpal Yadav and Rubina Dilaik.
