Filmmaker Siddharth Anand has issued a strong appeal after leaked on-set visuals from his much-anticipated film King, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, surfaced online. Urging restraint, the director asked fans to stop circulating the content and preserve the film’s big-screen impact.Taking to X, Anand shared a note requesting fans to refrain from sharing leaked material from the sets.“REQUEST TO ALL THE FANS. Please do not post or circulate any leaked multimedia from the sets of KING. The team is working round the clock to ensure the best cinematic experience for everyone. Let us wait for the surprise on the big screen and for the assets to be revealed as the team of King originally intends to. Thank you for your love, support and cooperation. ❤️ Shah Rukh Khan in & as KING.”

Leak from South Africa schedule sparks frenzy

The appeal comes after visuals from the film’s South Africa schedule went viral, showing Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone filming what appears to be a visually rich sequence. The images spread rapidly across fan pages, triggering speculation about the storyline and scale of the scene.In the leaked stills, Deepika is seen in a flowy orange outfit, while Shah Rukh sports a striped white-and-blue shirt paired with blue trousers. The actress’ appearance during the shoot also drew attention online, adding to the buzz around the film.King marks Shah Rukh Khan’s first on-screen collaboration with his daughter Suhana Khan. The film reportedly casts SRK as a seasoned assassin navigating a dark underworld, with Suhana playing his protege.The ensemble cast includes Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma and Raghav Juyal.King is slated for a grand theatrical release on December 24, 2026, positioning itself as one of the biggest Christmas releases of the year.
