Shraddha Kapoor drops health update after leg injury

Shraddha Kapoor drops health update after suffering an injury on the sets of 'Eetha': 'Terminator ki tarah ghoom rahi hu'

Shraddha Kapoor had injured herself recently while shooting for her film ‘Eetha’. As per reports, Shraddha fractured her toe while performing for a lavani sequence for the film. While fans have been worried for her, the actress has finally dropped update about her health. She reassure fans that she’s recovering and will be back on the set soon. Infact, fans were delighted to see that she put her wit and humour to display even while dropping her health update. The ‘Stree’ actress answered some fan questions on social media. When a fan asked how she was dealing with the discomfort, Shraddha showed her leg and said, “Terminator ki tarah ghoom rahi hoon. Muscle tear hai. Theek ho jaayega. Bas thoda rest karna hai but I’ll be absolutely fine.” This video quickly went viral, with fans filling social media with love and speedy-recovery messages. The same said that ‘Aashiqui 2’ should be re-released in theatres and Shraddha said that it’s a very good idea and she will definitely suggest the same to the makers. Shraddha started filming ‘Eetha’ earlier this month in Aundhewadi near Nashik. According to a Midday report, she was performing Lavani — the folk dance form the legendary Vithabai Narayangaonkar was known for — when she lost her balance and fractured a toe on her left foot. A source explained, “Lavani music characteristically has fast-paced beats and a quick tempo. In this number composed by Ajay-Atul, Shraddha — sporting a vibrant Nauvari saree, heavy jewellery, and a kamarpatta — had to perform a series of steps in succession to the beats of the dholki. To look the part of a young Vithabai, the actor has put on over 15 kilos. In one step, she mistakenly put all her weight on her left foot and lost her balance as a result.”The source added that though director Laxman Utekar halted filming, Shraddha didn’t want the day to go to waste and suggested shooting close-ups instead. After she returned to Mumbai, the team continued work on a Madh Island set, where she filmed emotional scenes. But the pain reportedly intensified after a few days, forcing the shoot to pause. “The unit will regroup two weeks later when she has completely recovered,” the source said. With ‘Eetha’, Shraddha is stepping into one of the toughest roles of her career. Meanwhile, during this fan interaction, Shraddha has also confirmed that she’s doing her boyfriend Rahul Mody’s next film.
