Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth SPLIT a year ago

Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth SPLIT a year ago; relationship update surfaces following actor's New Orleans arrest

Hollywood couple Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth have reportedly pulled the plug on their marriage. The new detail about their relationship status comes amid the actor’s latest run-in with the law, where he was reportedly arrested in New Orleans on two counts of simple battery.

Shia and Mia split

As reported by Page Six, LaBaouf and Goth quietly ended their relationship nearly a year ago. It remains unclear whether the two, who share a daughter together, have simply parted ways or if they have officially filed for divorce.

Shia and Mia’s rocky relationship

The couple first met on the set of ‘Nymphomaniac: Vol. II’, which marked Goth’s feature film debut. The couple tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2016, only to separate years later in 2018, with Page Six confirming that their representative stated, “Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable, and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.”Despite the divorce announcement, they were later spotted in March 2020 wearing wedding rings, though neither publicly confirmed their reconciliation. After several ups and downs, LaBeouf and Goth welcomed a baby girl together in 2022.

Shia arrested in New Orleans

The report further adds that the ‘Transformers’ star relocated to New Orleans following the breakup in order to be closer to family members. On Tuesday, news broke of the actor’s arrest, following an alleged altercation while celebrating Mardi Gras. Videos doing the rounds online see locals restraining the actor till police arrive on the scene. He was held at Orleans Parish Prison in Louisiana on Tuesday morning without bond and was scheduled to appear before a judge at 3 p.m. local time. Footage obtained by TMZ showed the shirtless actor receiving medical attention before being taken away.Neither LaBeouf nor Goth’s reps have publicly commented on the reported breakup.
