Shehnaaz Gill says ‘nothing happens’ by drinking Rs 600 black alkaline water; plans to use it for hair

Shehnaaz Gill, who rose to fame with her stint on ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and later made her Bollywood debut in 2023 with Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. Loved for her lively personality, Shehnaaz recently caught everyone’s attention for her candid opinion on a celebrity wellness trend, black alkaline water.

Bollywood stars are often spotted drinking black alkaline water

Many celebrities are known to drink black alkaline water, which is said to have health benefits. Stars like Virat Kohli, Tiger Shroff, Malaika Arora, and Karan Johar are often seen with the dark-coloured drink.

Shehnaaz Gill reveals when she drinks it

The ‘Honsla Rakh’ actress is the latest celebrity to be seen drinking black alkaline water. During her chat with Curly Tales, she shared that she only drinks it while shooting.“I only drink this during my shoots. It is not expensive as such. It is alkaline water, it has minerals, that’s what I have heard. I drink very less amount of water, but if it would be expensive, then I would think that something expensive is going inside me so I need to drink it,” she said.

Shehnaaz Gill says expensive black water does nothing

While talking about its cost, the ‘Thank You For Coming’ actress said she didn’t find any real benefits from the drink. “It is available for Rs 100, Rs 200, and even Rs 600. Nothing happens from drinking it. It is just water, I see something black so I drink it, thinking of it as black coffee. The taste is same like normal water,” she added.

Shehnaaz Gill plans to use it for her hair

Shehnaaz also revealed an interesting plan to use alkaline water for her hair. “A filter is also placed at home for alkaline water. I haven’t gotten it installed yet, but I will get it done soon. I have also heard that if you wash your hair using this water, it enhances them. I have no idea, I am only following what I have heard. If it benefits after 2-3 months then I will continue it,” she said.

Gill is gearing up for her upcoming film. She will next be seen in the Punjabi movie ‘Ikk Kudi’, which is set to release in cinemas on 31 October. Written and directed by Amarjit Singh, the film also stars Gurjazz and Nirmal Rishi. Go to Source
