Sharmiela, Sudhan Sundaram get engaged

Sharmiela Mandre and Sudhan Sundaram make engagement official in Bengaluru; share HAPPY pictures

Kannada actor and filmmaker Sharmiela Mandre has entered a new phase of her life as she got engaged to producer Sudhan Sundaram. The couple’s engagement ceremony was held in a private event in Bengaluru on June 25.

The couple shared pictures from their event which featured the two in a majestic off white traditional wear as Sharmiela Mandre donned a saare and Sudhan Sundaram was seen in a kurta.The engagement was attended by close family members and friends. The ceremony took place after both families gave their blessings and approval. The couple exchanged rings in a traditional celebration surrounded by their loved ones.

Couple shares happy pictures

Sharmiela in a collaboration post with Sudhan Sundaram kept the announcement simple. She wrote, “And just like that,” along with an engagement ring emoji.Soon after the post was shared, fans and several celebrities congratulated the couple. Actors Divya Spandana, Radhika Narayan, Sonu Gowda and others wished them in the comments section. Others also shared heart emojis.

About their professional front

Speaking of Sharmiela’s work, she made her acting debut with ‘Saajni’ in 2007. Since then, she has acted in nearly 35 films across Kannada, Tamil and Telugu cinema. Some of her popular films include ‘Krishna’, ‘Navagraha’, ‘Aake’, ‘Gaalipata 2’, ‘Powder’ and ‘The Devil’. Apart from acting, she also runs Sharmiela Mandre Productions and has produced several content-driven films.On the other hand, Sudhan Sundaram is the founder of Passion Studios and is known for producing multiple films. His film Parking won the National Award for Best Tamil Feature Film at the 71st National Film Awards.Sharmiela and Sudhan are expected to get married later this year. However, the couple has not yet announced their wedding date.
