Popular casting director Shanoo Sharma is one of the most well known names in the industry as she’s known for launching actors like Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Bhumi Pednekar among others. The longtime Yash Raj Films casting director has now stepped got married in an intimate ceremony and shared photos on social media. What stood out instantly was her decision to keep her husband’s identity under wraps. In the wedding photos she shared, his face and name were intentionally not revealed, keeping the moment deeply personal and away from public scrutiny.Announcing the news on Instagram, Shanoo wrote, “With Gods Grace I found the greatest man to walk this Earth with… With our parents’ blessings and love from our closest ones, we made it official this morning. Wedding celebrations to follow in the near future…Married…” Her post was soon flooded with warm wishes from across the film industry. Parineeti Chopra was among the first to respond, commenting, “Congratsssssss my girlll, the greatest news!” Kriti Sanon added, “Wowww!!! Congratulations,” while Ranveer Singh, whose career she helped launch, reacted with red heart emojis.Several others, including Arjun Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Radhikka Madan, Bhumi Pednekar, Sharvari, Vaani Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Rakul Preet Singh, Rhea Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Esha Gupta also sent in their congratulations. Shanoo has long been regarded as one of Bollywood’s most influential casting voices. Before transitioning into casting, she was actively involved in Mumbai’s theatre and creative circuit. Her entry into YRF came through Aditya Chopra, after which she became instrumental in identifying and nurturing fresh talent for the studio.Over the years, she has helped shape the careers of many actors, the most recent ones being Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda among others.Her defining breakthrough came with ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, where she cast a then-newcomer Ranveer Singh.
