Shanaya recalls her ex-boyfriend cheating on her with five girls

Shanaya Kapoor recalls her ex-boyfriend cheating on her with five girls, Ananya Panday told her to catch a train

Shanaya Kapoor’s film ‘Tu Ya Main’ co-starring Adarsh Gaurav has just released today. Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya made her debut with Vikrant Massey in ‘Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan’ and now as she was promoting her latest release, Shanaya spoke about relationships. On a podcast, she recalled a traumatic past experience when she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her with not just one but five girls. She called it a ‘scary’ experience and admitted that the betrayal blindsided her. She said in an interview with Relationshit Advice, “Mine was heartbreaking, I was traumatised. I was thinking, ‘This is it. It’s too good to be true. What a life, wow. This is the best relationship,’” she said, recalling how convinced she had been that she was in the most fulfilling relationship of her life. This happened during a vacation abroad. As the couple were preparing to step out for dinner, her boyfriend asked her to book a cab from his phone. That simple moment changed everything. While arranging the ride, she noticed a notification from his ex-girlfriend. Curious but unsuspecting, she opened the chat — only to stumble upon conversations that were far from innocent. What followed was even more disturbing. As she scrolled further, more chats surfaced. “The second girl popped up, the third girl, the fourth, the fifth. There were five girls he was messaging,” she revealed, explaining that he was speaking to each of them as though he were single.Still reeling from the discovery, Shanaya quietly took screenshots and sent them to her close friends on Snapchat for support. Among them was her longtime best friend, Ananya Panday, who was travelling nearby at the time.“My friend, Ananya (Panday) was like, ‘Catch a train and just come here.’ We were pretty close by… I was like, ‘I can’t just catch a fucking train, what do I do?’ This whole dinner, I’m pretending like everything’s okay,” she recalled.
