During a photo session with the paparazzi, Shahid was spotted putting his hand on Rashmika’s shoulder, to which she quickly stepped away. Pritam hits back at plagiarism allegations over ‘Cocktail 2’ song ‘Mashooqa’

In another controversy surrounding the film, the recently released song ‘Mashooqa’ from ‘Cocktail 2’ landed in hot water after several netizens claimed that its tune was lifted from a 1993 Italian track titled ‘Se So Arrubate A Nonna’. The allegations quickly gained traction online, prompting music composer Pritam to break his silence and hit back at the critics. Taking to his Instagram handle, he wrote, “Every single one of my song releases comes with a set of self-appointed music detectives, who have created a new genre called ‘imaginary similarities’. Same people, same ‘inspired by’ thesis.. Boss, at this point, you are my unpaid PR team..I just want to say guys, NOT NICE.”
