Shahid Kapoor is ‘back at it!!!’: Actor confirms filming for ‘Farzi 2’ in latest post

Shahid Kapoor has officially kicked off filming for the highly anticipated second season of his hit series, ‘Farzi 2’. Sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses, the actor confirmed the commencement of production for the black comedy. The show, which captivated audiences with its tale of a counterfeiting scam, is set to return with Kapoor reprising his role.

Shahid Kapoor’s leading black comedy series, ‘Farzi’, is back for yet another season. Only weeks after confirming that Kapoor is busy planning for ‘Farzi 2’, he has now shared another major update about the series on his social media account.

Shahid Kapoor starts filming for ‘Farzi 2’

On his social media account recently, the famed ‘Vivah’ actor posted a series of stories that sent fans into a frenzy. The star posted behind-the-scenes stills from ‘Farzi 2’ and confirmed that filming for the second season has officially begun. Shahid shared a black and white photograph with the makers of the series, along with the caption, “Farzi 2 day 1… back at it!!!” He also posted a photo of a table where his photos were spread across, while the script for ‘Farzi 2’ sat in the middle. The news of the show’s return was confirmed last month through a series of online posts made by Kapoor and the makers of ‘Farzi.’ The actor posted photos with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna Dasarakothapalli and wrote, “The fakers are back at it” in the caption, confirming the exciting news.

About ‘Farzi’

Directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna Dasarakothapalli, ‘Farzi’ created a lot of chatter upon its release online and was a big hit amongst the masses. The show revolves around a struggling artist named Sunny, who ends up using his talents to build a counterfeit note running scam. He pairs up with his best friend to tap into the illegal market; however faces a lot of challenges on his way, including a gangster, as well as a dedicated cop hell-bent on catching him. Other than Kapoor, the series also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, Chittaranjan Giri, Zakir Hussain, and many others.

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor is currently busy with a lot of projects. While he is filming for ‘Farzi 2’, the actor has also been cast as one of the leads in ‘Cocktail 2’ as well. He will be starring opposite Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon. Go to Source
