Veteran actress Shabana Azmi celebrated her 75th birthday with her family, friends and loved ones in a star-studded bash. Now, a heartwarming moment with her husband, Javed Akhtar has became the talk of the town.

Farah Khan shares the video

Style and grace on the dance floor

The veteran actress lit up the night in a flowy maroon outfit with bright red borders and a striking brooch that gave her look a regal edge. With minimal accessories and a chic updo, she radiated effortless grace. Javed Akhtar perfectly complemented her in a red kurta teamed with a black Nehru jacket, serving classic festive vibes. The couple twirled, laughed, and danced to the cheers of the crowd, creating a heartwarming moment that stole the show.

Bollywood stars join the celebrations

As the video pans around the dancing couple, we can see that Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Akhtar couldn’t stop smiling as they watched the couple steal the spotlight. Madhuri Dixit, looking as elegant as ever, cheered them on with infectious energy. Karan Johar was busy capturing the special moment on his phone, while Rekha looked absolutely spellbound by the adorable performance. Urmila Matondkar too joined in the applause, along with Maheep Kapoor, Sonu Nigam, Neena Gupta, and others.

Shabana Azmi on her journey

In an interview with ETimes, Shabana recently spoke about reinventing herself with every generation. She said, “Mainstream cinema gave me Manmohan Desai’s ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and ‘Parvarish’, N.N. Sippy’s ‘Fakira’, and others. But if not for Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Arth’, Shekhar Kapur’s ‘Masoom’, and Basu Chatterjee’s ‘Swami’, I would not have found the niche I was fortunate to occupy. These films gave me characters beyond just being an appendage to the hero. Looking back, that is what elongated my career. In a similar way, I feel Anil Kapoor is where he is today because he too chose to play layered characters early in his career rather than just stereotypical heroes.”She also revealed the names of actors from current generation who have impressed her. “There are many talented actors today. Among the men, I admire Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Ishaan Khatter, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Kumud Mishra. Among the women, I appreciate the work of Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan, and of course, Tabu,” she added. Go to Source
